GGR Student Travel Grants to the 2016 APS April Meeting
The Topical Group in Gravitation (GGR) offers a limited number of travel grants to support the attendance of graduate students (or advanced undergraduate students) at the APS April Meeting 2016, to be held April 16–19, 2016 in Salt Lake City, UT. The deadline for submission of abstracts for the meeting is January 8, 2016.
The amount of each grant will be approximately $300. All students who are members of the Topical Group in Gravitation and are giving talks or presenting posters at the conference are eligible for travel grants. Preference will be given to applicants who have not received travel grant support to the APS meeting from the Topical Group in the past, but all participating GGR students are encouraged to submit applications. Students are also encouraged to apply for travel grants to other APS units in addition to GGR, as this may help us leverage funds to support their application.
Any student interested in a travel grant should submit an application online. by January 15, 2016, one week after the deadline for submission of abstracts.
